Safari & Surf

THE EXPERIENCE

The Masai Mara. Then the Indian Ocean. The classic Kenya sequence — and the one that most visitors imagine when they picture an East Africa holiday. The challenge is always execution: juggling two different operators, two sets of logistics, two booking systems. Edgar solves that. He handles the seamless transfer from the Mara airstrip to Mombasa, the Likoni ferry crossing south to Diani, and the moment you step onto the beach with cold drinks in hand. No gaps. No complications. Just the intensity of predator country followed by the total release of the Indian Ocean.

Itinerary

Domestic flight to the Mara. Afternoon game drive. First lions. Camp dinner.

Pre-dawn predator drive. River drive afternoon. Campfire under the Mara sky.

Day in Mara North Conservancy. Migration crossing focus (Jul–Oct) or big game drive. Walking safari option.

Dawn drive. Fly Mara–Mombasa. Ferry south to Diani. First swim. Sunset seafood dinner.

Full day at leisure. Swimming, snorkelling, dhow sailing. The contrast with the Mara is total.

Boat to the marine park: dolphins, turtles, coral. Beach lunch on a sand bank. Return for sunset.

Final full day on the beach. No plans required.

Morning at leisure. Transfer to Mombasa airport. Domestic flight to Nairobi.

Transfer to JKIA for homeward flight.
