The Itinerary

Seven days tracing the rhythm of the wild.

Nairobi → Masai Mara

Travel from Nairobi to the Masai Mara by domestic flight or road transfer. Arrive in the afternoon and begin your first game drive across the open plains, with chances to spot lions and wildebeest. End the day with a sundowner before settling into camp for dinner and overnight.

Full Day in the Mara · Big Cats

Head out before dawn for the best chance of seeing Kilimanjaro clearly in the soft early morning light, before clouds begin to gather around the summit. Continue through Amboseli for a final day of wildlife viewing, watching elephants, plains game and abundant birdlife across the open lakebed and surrounding wetlands. After a relaxed afternoon drive, return to camp and enjoy a farewell dinner under the stars, bringing your time in Amboseli to a memorable close.

Mara · Great Migration Focus

Spend the day exploring the Mara River crossing points, especially during the Great Migration from July to October. Outside migration season, enjoy a full-day drive through the northern Mara, where wildlife remains abundant. Later in the afternoon, visit a Maasai cultural village before returning to camp.

Mara → Amboseli

Begin with a morning game drive before leaving the Masai Mara. After lunch, travel southeast across the Rift Valley toward Amboseli, with Kilimanjaro gradually appearing on the horizon. Arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy your first game drive, with the mountain providing a spectacular backdrop.

Full Day in Amboseli · Elephants

Start before dawn for the clearest views of Kilimanjaro and excellent wildlife activity. Spend the morning watching Amboseli’s famous elephant herds around the swamp margins, including large bulls. After a midday break, continue across the open lakebed for more wildlife viewing in the afternoon.

Amboseli · Dawn + Final Drives

Head out before dawn for the best chance of seeing Kilimanjaro clearly in the early morning light. Continue through Amboseli for a final day of wildlife viewing, with elephants and plains game across the open landscape. Return to camp for a relaxed farewell dinner under the stars.

Amboseli → Nairobi

Begin with a final sunrise game drive across Amboseli, with one last chance to see elephants and Kilimanjaro in the early light. After breakfast, return to Nairobi by road or domestic flight. Arrive in time for your onward connection, bringing the safari to a relaxed close.
