Three Ways to Experience East Africa
The Masai Mara is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations, known for its open plains, rich wildlife and exceptional predator sightings. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and buffalo are regularly seen, while the Mara River attracts hippos and crocodiles.
From July to October, the Great Migration brings vast herds of wildebeest and zebra across the reserve. This five-day safari allows time to enjoy the Mara at a relaxed pace, with private game drives, conservancy areas and optional experiences such as a walking safari or sunrise balloon flight.

Nairobi → Masai Mara
Domestic flight from Wilson Airport to the Mara airstrip (45 min), or road transfer (approx. 5–6 hrs). Afternoon game drive directly from the airstrip. First sightings of the open plains. Sundowner. Camp dinner under the stars.
Full Day in the Mara
Pre-dawn departure for the best light and predator activity. The Mara Triangle is particularly productive for lion and leopard. Midday break. Afternoon drive to the Mara River — year-round crocodile and hippo, and during migration (Jul–Oct) the wildebeest crossing.
Mara North Conservancy
Day in the private Mara North Conservancy — adjacent to the reserve, fewer vehicles, no tourist traffic, exceptional predator sightings. Optional walking safari in the afternoon with a Maasai guide. Campfire dinner.
Dawn Balloon Safari + Game Drive
Optional pre-dawn balloon safari at sunrise, drifting for one unforgettable hour above the vast plains as wildlife moves below, followed by a champagne breakfast on landing. In the afternoon, return to the open grasslands for a game drive focused on cheetah, elephant and other wildlife across this remarkable landscape.
